Please come into the office 5-10 minutes early to fill out client forms and have time to
discuss your goals for the massage and what areas you are having pain or stiffness.
After a brief consult I will leave the room so that you may get undressed to your
comfort level and get onto the massage table under a sheet and blanket. You will be
modestly draped throughout the massage. I generally do not talk much during the
massage session except to ask you if you want more or less pressure or to ask about an
area that I am working on unless you initiate conversation. This is to help you relax. I
ask that you tell me at any point during the massage if you want more or less pressure,
or if anything is uncomfortable or painful. After the massage I will leave the room so that
you can get dressed. I will bring you a bottle of water. Then we will have a quick post
massage consult to see how you are doing after the massage and what our goals are for
the next session.

Every time you get a massage you will need to drink plenty
of water afterwards.
Massage helps to break up the toxins that are trapped in your muscles. Drinking water
helps to flush those toxins out of your system. If you do not drink enough water after a
massage the toxins will re-adhere to the muscle fibers leaving you stiff and sore the next
day.
During a typical full body massage I will integrate several of these modalities
into the massage depending on what your body needs at that time.
